Seattle Art Museum Tour

I’m leading an Art Hit Tour at the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) on Thursday, August 21. Come join us! Here’s what they say about the tour:

Charlotte Austin is an author and editor who often writes about her experiences as an international mountain guide. Siolo Thompson is a self-taught visual artist who uses her background in comparative literature to aid in her quest to translate complex ideas, stories, and emotions into the language of painting. Together, these women cultivate collaborations between writers and artists, centering their inquiry on a simple void in modern media: the lack of positive, multidimensional female role models. The result of these collaborations is the book The Better Bombshell, which provides new insights into the way modern female role models affect us all. Join these women on a tour of their favorite spots in the Olympic Sculpture Park.

The tour starts at 6:30pm, and there will be food trucks and wine.  It’s all part of the Summer at SAM program, and there are details about the event here.
