Upcoming Slideshow: November 15th, 2017
At 1:30pm on November 15th, 2017, I’m giving a lecture/slideshow called “Machu Picchu: Exploring the Salkantay Trail.” Here’s a description of the event:
Mountain guide Charlotte Austin has led several expeditions to southern Peru, and she’s joining us to share stories from her recent trek to the ancient Incan citadel of Machu Picchu. We’ll discuss the history of the Incan empire, see photos from her team’s journey over the Salkantay Pass in the Cordillera Vilcambamba mountain range, and maybe even taste some local pisco.
The event is part of the Armchair Traveler Lecture Series at Panorama City, and it will be held at the Panorama City Auditorium. Here’s the address:
1670 Circle Ln SE
Lacey, WA 98503
(360) 413-6070
Everybody is welcome, and the event is free! No need to RSVP. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me directly.
