OWA Panel on Women in the Outdoors

I’ve been invited to speak on a panel about women in the outdoors! It’ll be on May 17th, and here’s the event description:

Ascent Outdoors, Vertical World, and Outdoor Women’s Alliance present an evening of engaging discussion on how we use connection in the backcountry to tackle issues in the front country. We’ve put together a panel of local women — adventurers, guides, athletes, artists, and industry professionals — in an attempt to inspire and empower. We’ll discuss what unique role women play in the outdoor space, what it means to be a women in an outdoor leadership role, what challenges we face, and how we can use the outdoors to build community. May 17th, 7:30pm.

My fellow panelists are absolute rockstars: Sally Bergesen (founder and CEO of Oiselle), Steph Jagger (author of Unbound: A Journey of Snow and Self-Discovery), Mercedes Pollmeier (strength/movement coach), and Tegra Nuess (travel/lifestyle photographer.) There will be kombucha, snacks, and (hopefully!) some great discussions. See you there!
